Prior to Cornell, Anna worked as a knitwear & accessories designer at Aeron in Budapest.
Apurva Pandey
Apurva is pursuing a Ph.D. degree at North Carolina State University after obtaining her Master of Art Degree (Advisor: Professor Heeju Park) at Cornell University in 2023.
Tulasi Elangovan
Tulasi obtained her Master of Art Degree (Advisor: Professor Heeju Park) at Cornell University in 2023.

Prior to Cornell, Tulasi worked as a design development manager at Bodice, India.
Andrew Melissas
Andrew obtained his Master of Art Degree (Advisor: Professor Heeju Park) at Cornell University in 2023.

Prior to Cornell, Andrew completed Georgia Tech's Masters of Industrial Design certificate program, during which he discovered his passion for teaching and interest in footwear and sportswear.
Jeyeon Jo
Jeyeon is joining the University of Georgia as an Assistant Professor after obtaining his Ph.D. Degree (Advisor: Professor Heeju Park) at Cornell University in 2023.
Lauren Forstenhausler
Lauren is currently working as an Assistant Apparel Designer at Capelli Sport after obtaining her B.S. at Cornell University in 2021.
She is 2020 ITAA Blanche Payne Scholarship Recipient and won second place award at the 2021 ITAA Student Best Paper Competition (Undergraduate category) based on her research with Prof. Park.
Antonio Martinez
Antonio is pursuing a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering at University of Pennsylvania after obtaining his B.S. at Cornell University in 2021.
He participated in fiber optic sensor study (funded by NASA JPL) as an undergraduate research assistant in Cornell Performance Design Lab.
Yoojin Chung
Yoojin is currently working as a researcher at Bionics Research Center, Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) after obtaining her Master of Art Degree (Advisor: Professor Heeju Park) at Cornell University in 2020. At KIST, Yoojin is developing wearable platform that can monitor electro-muscle signals in the lower body.
Eric Beaudette
Eric is pursuing a Ph.D. in Human Factors and Ergonomics at University of Minnesota after obtaining his M.S. (Advisor: Professor Heeju Park) at Cornell University in 2019.
Patent: Development of thermochromic pigment based on sportswear for detection of physical exhaustion
Award: Athletic seaming methods for thermal comfort of activewear (2018 ITAA Student Best Paper Award)
Jie Pei
Jie Pei is currently working as a Consultant at FIT:MATCH after obtaining her PhD degree (advisor: Professor Jintu Fan). Jie completed her MA degree (advisor: Professor Heeju Park) in 2016. She patented a novel size recommendation method for bras based on her study at Cornell.
Manwen Li
Manwen is currently working as Lead of 3D Material Virtualization at Under Armour after obtaining her Master of Art Degree (Advisor: Professor Heeju Park) at Cornell University in 2017.
Qinwen Xu
Qinwen is currently working as a Planner at Garan (a children’s wear company) after obtaining her Master of Art Degree (Advisor: Professor Heeju Park) at Cornell University in 2016.
Erica Hyunji Lee
Erica worked as a Customer Experience Designer at CLO3D Virtual Fashion Inc. (South Korea) after obtaining her Bachelor of Art Degree at Cornell University in 2016. Erica as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Cornell Performance Apparel Design Lab worked with Professor Park during her study at Cornell.
Emelia Black
Emelia is currently working as a product designer at True North Gear in Seattle after obtaining her Bachelor of Science Degree at Cornell University in 2018. Emelia as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Cornell Performance Apparel Design Lab worked with Professor Park during her study at Cornell.
Mary Claire Nemeth
Mary Claire is currently working as an Art Teacher at Phillips Exeter Academy, after obtaining her M.A. degree (Advisor: Professor Heeju Park) at Cornell University in 2015. Following Cornell, She received her MFA in Studio Art in 2018 from Indiana University.
Sandy Flint
Sandy is currently the Materials Manager at Stio, an outerwear company based in Jackson Hole, WY. In addition to developing and sourcing all of Stio’s textile and trim items, Sandy is also the Co-Chair of the Stio Stewardship Council, overseeing the sustainability efforts at Stio.
