Teens from across New York State explored smart fire gear at Cornell Human Ecology through hands-on design experiences during the 4-H Career Explorations Conference.

Professor Heeju Park has received the Vincent  V.C. Woo Professorship in the Department of Fiber Science and Apparel Design in the College of Human Ecology.

Professor Park and Jeyeon Jo (Ph.D. '23), a former lab member and assistant professor at the University of Georgia, transform a simple shirt into a health and fitness tracker by utilizing innovative fiber optic embroidery.

The design works of graduate and undergraduate students in our lab are featured at the discussion co-sponsored by Cornell Veterans Colleague Network Group (VCNG) and the College of Human Ecology.
